Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable and Payable:
- Assist in processing accounts receivable invoices and payments.
- Support accounts payable by verifying and processing invoices, reconciling statements, and preparing payments.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve billing discrepancies.
Data Entry and Bookkeeping:
- Accurately enter financial transactions into the accounting system.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for financial records.
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts.
Assistance in Financial Reporting:
- Support in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in analyzing financial data and identifying trends or discrepancies.
- Help prepare and distribute internal financial reports as needed.
General Accounting Support:
- Provide general support to the accounting team in day-to-day operations.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
