Job Overview: The Head of Investment will lead the company's investment strategy and activities, ensuring alignment with the overall corporate goals and objectives. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities that will drive the company’s growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate investment, financial analysis, and strategic planning, as well as excellent leadership and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investment Strategy: Develop and implement an investment strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives and market opportunities.
- Deal Sourcing and Evaluation: Identify, analyze, and evaluate potential investment opportunities, including property acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence on potential investments, including cash flow projections, return on investment (ROI), and risk assessments.
- Negotiation and Execution: Lead negotiations and manage the execution of investment transactions, including structuring deals and drafting agreements.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage the company's existing investment portfolio, optimizing returns and ensuring long-term sustainability.
- Market Research: Stay informed on real estate market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to guide investment decisions.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, partners, and government agencies.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the investment team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and the board of directors on the performance and status of the investment portfolio.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional qualification (e.g. CFA, ACCA) is preferred.
