Build and/or review financial models and conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and investment evaluations, ensuring adherence to best practices and providing guidance to Executives/Senior Executives.
Prepare approval papers for investment proposals, encompassing market research, deal structuring, business case analysis, financial analysis, sensitivity analysis, and risk assessment.
Execute and oversee investment deals, including conducting thorough due diligence processes.
Monitor investment performance and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and analyze market trends and risks to provide insights contributing to the company's New Ventures.
Support Managers in managing senior executives/trainees, offering mentorship and coaching to junior staff members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Assist in executing corporate activities such as capital optimization and allocation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or related fields, with a focus on strategic partnerships, M&A, and financial analysis.
Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in conducting financial analysis.
Experience in deal structuring, due diligence, and executing investment transactions.
Excellent understanding of market trends and ability to assess associated risks.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and coach junior team members.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with the property development industry and Malaysian market preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Fluency in English and proficiency in other languages such as Malay or Mandarin would be advantageous.
