Job Purpose: As the Senior Training Manager, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and managing effective learning programs. You will enhance the skill set of the sales staff, supporting continuous learning within the Business Distribution & Development Division and various distribution channels to support the organization's strategic direction.

... - Training Program Development: Identify, develop, and implement training programs to address the needs of various distribution channels, including internal teams and distribution partners.
- Training Delivery: Ensure the efficient and effective delivery of training programs to enhance the skill set and knowledge base of sales staff across all channels and areas.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the main pillar of training support in a specific subject matter area. Train other trainers and support the sales force with your specialized knowledge.
- Sales Performance and Productivity: Lead training interventions aimed at improving sales performance and productivity.
- Self-Improvement and Market Awareness: Stay informed on the latest training developments, competency practices, and industry best practices, including relevant legislation and market trends.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Generate and analyze sales performance reports, training evaluation reports, and other data to assess the impact and effectiveness of training initiatives.
- Program Planning and Execution: Develop and execute training programs and individual training calendars.
- Materials Development: Analyze and develop researched training materials to support programs.
- Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong working relationships at all levels, internally and externally, including with distribution partners.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a strong understanding of life insurance knowledge, including takaful and non-takaful, and adhere to related regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or other professional qualifications in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a financial institution or insurance industry, with a focus on training and development.
- Expertise in training in areas such as soft skills, sales knowledge, product knowledge, and technical knowledge.
- Well-developed coaching and sales management skills.
- Strong ability to assess training gaps and design programs to address them.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships across various levels.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Strong planning, organizational, and execution skills.
