As a Assistant Manager, Supply Chain/Material Planning - you are responsible for the following:
- Oversee the end to end material planning, purchasing and production planning operations
- Work closely with the warehouse distribution team to ensure the finished goods are delivered timely
- Possess knowledge of current lead times and identify key suppliers' bottlenecks, working to minimize these lead times in collaboration with site and category teams.
- Interface with customers to address all their requirements (ie. quality, quantity and delivery timeline)
- Forecasting, analysis and planning of material replenishment activities
- Monitor and manage operations to resolve issues related to meeting targets and material order lead times.
skills /experience
- At least 5 years of relevant Supply Chain, Production and Material Planning experience
- Possess adequate leadership experience to lead a team
- Background in Food Manufacturing is a MUST
- A good problem solver and strong stakeholder management skills
