about the job
Our client is currently looking for an Accountant, directly reporting to the Accounting Team Lead. This role expects you to:
- Reconcile Inventory Valuation Report and Accrued Liability Report
- Coordinate Stock-Take, Reconcile and investigate the differences
- Monitor and to ensure the Data Integrity
- To monitor Monthly Report to Treasury
- Circulate Monthly Financial OP, DSO Report
- Prepare Audit Schedule, reconciliation to relevant accounting system
- To maintain the Fixed Asset Register, Depreciation Schedule, Account Receivable, Account Payable revaluation, and Finance related Module in the System
- To liaise with the Bankers, Auditors, Tax Agent, and Government Bodies on Finance / Accounting / Tax matters
- To ensure the smooth and Proper Handling of Creditors and Customer Enquiries and Complaints and any other related Finance / Accounting service function where appropriate
- To perform any other related job function as required by the Management
- Any other tasks as assigned by the Company
about the manager / team
You will be reporting to the Accounting Team Lead, whom is extremely kind, results driven and is willing to guide team members in order to succeed
skills & experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as ACCA/CPA/CIMA or similar qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in the related field
- Industry experience in Manufacturing or similar industries are highly preferred
- Knowledge in Taxation such as Tax Computation, Indirect Tax and SST is required
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork and leadership skills are highly preferred
