job description

Job Summary

Finance

  • Fixed assets and depreciation for closing
  • Reconciliation of inventory purchases to statement of accounts, post inventory purchases/credit notes and stock adjustments into JDE system
  • Prepare monthly packaging and uniform usage reporting
  • Prepare and book in standard accruals for month-end closing
  • Preparation and update of month end schedules (balance sheet schedules, expenses to HOD, etc)
  • Arrange for verification of invoices
  • Coordinate with Kering Shared Service on monthly closing of AR and AP functions when required
  • Petty cash count
  • Coordinate stock take, verification of stock take results and post required adjustments
  • Prepare defective stocks report held in office
  • Assist with various audits (eg. Year end audit, sales certification, etc.)
  • Keep track of utilities (electricity/water/paper, etc.) usage for environmental reporting
  • Other ad hoc finance tasks

Administrative

  • Renewal of various licenses required for store and office
  • Application and collection of cites import/export permit, provide update of status to inventory control and merchandising team
  • Liaising person for receiving and sending of documents between office and stores
  • Liaise with inventory control to confirm on duty/GST charges on import shipments
  • Assist to print price tags/duty roster/product training manuals in office and allocate to stores
  • Prepare and arrange for signing of purchase order for stationery, F&B and sundries replenishment monthly
  • Allocation of spare parts/repair items to store
  • Sorting out documents/parcels/mails received and distribute accordingly
  • Archive of documents
  • Other ad hoc admin tasks

Desired Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accountancy, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in MS office, JDA/JDE, HFM (preferred).
  • At least 4-6 year(s) of working experience in the related field
  • Able to work independently and drive changes with goal oriented mindset
  • Works well under pressure and under tight deadlines
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate work interactions within a dynamic organization
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, and meticulous
