About the company:

Responsibilities in Finance


  • Receive Invoice from various department. To check the supporting documents and approval and to post in the accounting system with correct GST Coding in JD Edwards AS/400
  • Receive staff travel claims and petty cash vouchers. To check the supporting and approval before posting in accounting system.
  • Prepare payments to Suppliers for all entities. To ensure all payments are properly done and completed before due date. Applying payment entries in the system accordingly
  • Process staff claims, travel claims, travel advance, office & store petty cash claim reimbursement within the timeline. Update the reimbursement in the system. Maintain month-end Travel advance schedules
  • Manage reconciliation of Suppliers' Statement of Accounts, liaise with Suppliers to resolve invoice/payment discrepancies
  • Provide Intercompany Confirmation at month end and checking on Suppliers' audit confirmation
  • Maintain AP Aging Report in the system and ensure the balance tally with the Payable control account
  • Posting of all outgoing bank entries into system, which including bank interest, bank charges, Giro payment entries and others
  • Preparing Cash Flow for all legal entities and working on optimization of capital resources
  • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.


Experience, business and technical skills:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience from prior work in an accounting department
  • General knowledge of processes within Finance Function and good understanding of the Payables function
  • Process knowledge associated with an ERP-application

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
  • Experience coordinating with other offices in a multi-national company preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills
