Develop, optimise, maintain and enhance high performance Android applications in a competent environment
Produce high quality, scalable and maintainable code that is parallel with the industry standard practices
Work together with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, conceptualise solutions and align with the delivery parameters
Ensure smooth and reliable user experience of the application by conducting testing and debugging
Actively participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to optimise the performance of the application
Conduct research, evaluation and implementation of new technology within the Android space that improve the quality of products
Proactively provide suggestions or ideas to improve current methods and techniques to elevate the capability of the organisation

must have requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Android Developer
Strong knowledge and 3 years or more experience using Java and Kotlin professionally. Kotlin is a must
Experienced in using RESTful API for mobile development
Familiar with Firebase
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
Possesses excellent communication skills
Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or IT/ related fields

nice to haves

Experience with mobile DevOps and CI/CD
Knowledge in iOS development using Swift or hybrid mobile app development using Flutter/React Native
