about the company

Our client is a leading player within the pharmaceutical industry, having an established regional APAC shared services in Kuala Lumpur. They are currently expanding their AP team, hence looking to hire multiple positions for AP Manager/Senior Analyst & Analyst.

about the job

The roles will have functional reporting into the manager for the Analyst & Senior Analyst (across invoice processing, payments & vendor master data), while the Manager (end-to-end( will be reporting into the Head of AP. .

Technical & Compliance

  • Identify, facilitate and implement process improvement ideas to improve process efficiencies.

  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities and regulatory authorities as required for the countries served.

  • Support the assigned project such as migration & knowledge transfer into the shared services.

  • Maintain and ensure process workflow and documentation are up to date to the current processes.

Functional Competencies

  • Strong Internal Customer Focus and team building skills

  • Technically strong for Purchase to Pay processes

  • Ability to handle multi-tasking of Purchase to Pay related activities

  • High degree of problem solving skills

  • Excellent team performance management and on-the-job coaching skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Liaise with various stakeholders to gain support and resolve issues.

Leadership & Management

  • Provides clear direction & expectation to the team members, in line with strategy.

  • Lead, motivate, counsel, develop and coach team members to meet, KPIs and SLAs, especially the tight monthly, year end and ad hoc initiative deadlines.

  • Manage team resourcing, performance levels & development plan for business continuity.

  • Liaise with various stakeholders to gain support and resolve issues.

Skills and experience required

The aspiring candidate should possess:

  • Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Business or any relevant field.

  • MInimum 4 years of experience in AP areas within shared services.

  • SAP experience will be an added advantage

  • Migration & knowledge transfer experience will be highly desirable

  • Able to work independently, positive and dynamic

  • Able to work under pressure and attend to details

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
