With a strong presence in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview: As an APAC Internal Auditor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our operations across the Asia-Pacific region. You will work closely with our internal audit team to assess internal controls, compliance, and financial processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth within a multinational organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Financial Audits: Perform financial and operational audits of various entities within the APAC region to assess compliance with company policies and procedures.
Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate financial, operational, and compliance risks, and develop audit plans accordingly.
Internal Control Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, including the design and operational efficiency of processes and systems.
Compliance Verification: Ensure that business units adhere to local and international regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Audit Documentation: Prepare comprehensive audit workpapers, findings, and recommendations for management review.
Recommendations: Provide actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, mitigate risks, and improve compliance.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to ensure consistent audit practices and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Reporting: Prepare and present audit reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key findings and suggesting corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably within the chemical industry or a similar multinational environment.
- Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, or CPA is a plus.
- Strong understanding of auditing standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Big 4 experience is a must.
- Willingness to travel within the APAC region and sometimes Europe
