Our client is world recognised MNC in its industry, currently looking for Accounts Receivable Analyst, specialising in Credit Collections & Cash Application.

about the job

Focus on managing a portfolio of Receivable Accounts - collections, cash application and AR accounting tasks.

  • Manage all collection activities for a portfolio of customers & accounts
  • Work with varying levels of personnel within internal and customer organizations to resolve any collection issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Review customer account accounts receivable balances researching possible reasons or issues resulting in non-payment, including on-going credit analysis
  • Apply payments and credit notes to customer accounts/invoices, in compliance with Credit Management & Collection policies and procedures
  • Reconcile accounts on a regular (ongoing, monthly) basis and maintain clean aging balances
  • Monitor the accounts receivable aging for accuracy and completeness to optimize days sales outstanding.
  • Provide information to Credit Analysts/Managers on customers
  • Initiate and support continuous improvement opportunities (process, system and procedures).
  • Perform other duties as and when delegated i.e. back-up, business process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc projects

skills and experience required

You, as the aspiring candidate, must possess:

  • Diploma or Degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting
  • Proven experience in AR accounting & Cash Collection for at least 5 years in shared services.
  • Fluency in Chinese & Japanese languages will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in using ERP systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to listen and negotiate
  • Demonstrates flexibility to adapt to a fast paced environment with multiple priorities and constantly changing workload
  • Demonstrates ability to manage time effectively
  • Self-starter who has the ability to work independently or within a team environment
  • Deliver excellent customer service and be customer focused
