Our client is a Malaysian-based company that specialises in the production and distribution of beverages. The company was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in Perak.
about the job
This is a newly added headcount into the company and the role will be reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager.
Key responsibilities:
Developing and implementing sales strategies: You will develop and execute sales plans to achieve sales targets for your region, and establish sales targets and performance metrics for the sales team.
Managing sales team: You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing the sales team in your region. You will also provide coaching and mentoring to help the team meet their targets and goals.
Building and maintaining relationships with customers: You will work with key customers and distributors to maintain strong relationships and grow sales in your region.
Collaborating with other teams: You will work closely with the marketing and product development teams to ensure that products are being marketed effectively in your region.
Reporting and analysis: You will provide regular sales reports and analysis to senior management to keep them informed of sales performance and progress towards targets.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum a Diploma in Business/Marketing or its equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the FMCG Industry; experience in distributor management is preferred
- Candidates with a beverage background will be preferred
- Flexible to travel
