Randstad is partnering with a international company that specialized in FMCG. The company is going through global expansion and they are currently looking for Assistant Demand & Supply Planning Manager as part of their growth plan.

about the job

This role is to provide support to the Demand & Supply Manager in providing effective forecasting of product demands using analytical, marketing and sales data of the Company. Main responsibility include planning of inventory flow, generating forecast data and solution and analyzing statistical data.

duties and responsibility

  • Hold monthly demand forecast review meeting with commercial team
  • Prepare and analyze reports and data that will be used in the demand forecast review meeting.
  • Prepare and analyzed the latest demand and supply short to long term plan that will be used in validation meeting.
  • Manage end to end replenishment and inventory planning from purchase requisition to goods receipt into warehouse.
  • Maintain master data list such as planning parameter and ensure accuracy of the data.
  • Review and convert purchase requisition and monitor open supply order and take action to resolve problem.
  • Identify current and potential stock shortages, develop and execute recovery, advise relevant parties of status and recovery plans.
  • Continue to identify and drive system/process improvement to ensure system reliability and sustainability.


  • Strong business acumen on understanding of entire supply chain and both demand and supply including market challenges
  • Experience in FMCG manufacturing planning activity
  • Hands on experience in short and long term demand forecasting process, EtoE planning, S&OP processes and logistic supply planning
  • Continuously strive to improve processes and building recommendations based on trade discussions
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiar with demand forecast software, e.g ERP / SAP system
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in demand and supply forecast, preferably from FMCG industry
