about the job

You will be reporting into the Senior Trade Marketing Manager.

Key responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of trade marketing and brand management with effective communication between Sales, Marketing, SCM and other departments in order to optimize key business opportunities
  • Assist the Category Manager to manage brand building activities including internal and external customer management aspect. Review and manage product performance, inventory and propose sales and development plans
  • Contribute to the business and budget planning for the categories and commitment in delivering annual targets – Sales, Profit, Market Share/In Store Share Category and competitors analytics to identify distribution gaps, channel development and brand building opportunities
  • Analyze business performance and turn market research data/ shoppers’ research into actionable customer insights
  • Monitor competitive activities and track promotion frequency with types of promotions taking place in various trade sectors
  • To lead Trade Collaborative project: Develop focused trade strategies for each account or trade channel and ensure these strategies are in tandem with the positioning and potential of the accounts / channels

skills and experience required

  • Minimum Bachelor degree
  • Minimum 4 years of Trade Marketing/Channel Development/Brand Management experience in the FMCG industry
  • Analytical-mindset, numerical-driven and strong communication
