As an Audit and Assurance Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in the execution of audit engagements for our esteemed Financial Services clients. You will work closely with experienced professionals to conduct audits, gain exposure to diverse financial institutions, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Execution:
- Assist in planning and performing audit procedures in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct substantive testing, analytical reviews, and risk assessments.
- Prepare working papers and documentation to support audit findings.
Client Engagement:
- Collaborate effectively with audit teams and clients to gather necessary information and resolve audit issues.
- Maintain positive client relationships through timely communication and professional conduct.
Professional Development:
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in audit regulations and industry trends.
Quality Assurance:
- Adhere to the firm's audit methodologies and quality control procedures.
- Assist in identifying and mitigating risks on audit engagements.
Team Support:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Pursuing or holding a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) is preferred.
- 2-4 years of relevant audit experience, preferably in the Financial Services Industry.
- Strong understanding of auditing standards, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.
