- Become a member of the group that develops, safeguards, and oversees security services for our cloud security infrastructure.
- creates an architectural blueprint from business and technical cloud needs in order to fulfil corporate goals, and documents all solution architecture design and analysis work.
- Create architectural blueprints to direct and contextualise the creation of solutions for diverse cloud-related projects, services, products, and systems (including software, hardware, operational procedures, and data).
- Engineering and fine-tuning cloud security solutions, such as enrolments, monitoring, alerting, and maintaining a defined security posture, are included.
- Design technical solutions based on use cases and business needs.
- Participate in technical analyses of cloud technologies, architectures, and solutions, including proof-of-concept studies, and offer advice on best practices.
- Keep up with new cloud-based technology and dangers. proactive assessment and evaluation of the organisation's adoption
- investigating and analysing current cloud architectures, as well as developing fresh, improved security techniques, will improve the security of cloud-based settings.
- Developing and implementing automation tools, scripting, object-oriented programming, and software testing
- Managing and carrying out cloud technologies and procedures that have an impact on the global information protection capability that has been assigned, including problem detection and resolving, documentation, tool integration, closing of gaps, gap evaluation, and capability enhancement over time.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to assume project leadership roles as needed will help you respond quickly and ingeniously to threats or weaknesses in cloud architecture.
- Manage cyber security issues and incidents while leading internal application teams and outside vendors to fix vulnerabilities in cloud-based applications.
- Take the initiative or take part in security assessments of various cloud-based solutions, including DevOps deployment and cloud computing platforms.
- Make recommendations for and oversee the application of technical controls to support and uphold established security rules for our use of the cloud.
- Oversee daily threat and vulnerability management tasks, determine risk tolerances, provide treatment options, and disseminate details regarding residual risk.
- information systems bachelor's degree or comparable job experience
- Professional Cloud Security Certification, Certified Information System Security Professional ("CISSP"), or comparable
- a minimum of 5 years of technical expertise using cloud technologies, with at least 2–3 of those years spent in a job involving information security
