My client is a Middle Eastern fashion retailer (apparel and accessories) with strong global presence. They have been growing aggressively in Malaysia for the past few years and are continuing to expand their operation. As part of the growth, they are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative Brand Communication Manager to join their team.

about the job

As the Brand Comminication Manager, you will be reporting to CEO.

You are responsible for developing and implementing the social media strategy to increase the brand's online presence and to improve the sales efforts.

  • Deliberate planning, strategy and goal setting while collaborating with the Social Media Agencies to ensure content is informative and appealing.
  • Implementing a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
  • Content management and overseeing social media content for brand awareness and impressions
  • Measuring the success of every social media campaign and ensuring appropriate Return on Investment (ROI)
  • Cultivating leads and sales and work on content optimization and generation of inbound traffic
  • Monitoring SEO and user engagement
  • Integrating all channels of marketing (social media, SEO, content marketing, email, print and digital marketing)
  • Communicating with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • Online Reputation Management - Handling Customer Complaints and feedback.

skills and experience required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
  • Highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers by engaging with customers on a daily basis, with the ultimate goal of turning fans into customers and turning customers into advocates.
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • Excellent multitasking skills and time-management skills
  • Critical thinker with problem-solving skills and being a Team player
  • Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
