This role reports directly to the Founder. You will be part of a high functioning and growing team who prioritises work and fun altogether.

about the job
In this role, you will be reporting to the General Manager of the company.
Your objective is to identify, build relationships/partnerships with pet shop owners or shops (merchants) and onboarding them onto the company's marketplace platform. Work with the team to execute acquisition strategies and initiatives
Your Responsibilities:
- Engage in cold calling and bring in new merchants onto the company's in house marketplace platform
- You will need to communicate and plan on a quarterly basis with related department and accomplish task's within set timelines
- Build a healthy pipeline of pet merchandise leads by sourcing high-quality leads.
- Analyze data to suggest and improve promotions, discount vouchers and sales strategies for the marketplace
- Develop business strategy improvement projects to create value for both merchants and the company through sponsorship, cross-brand marketing, etc
Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in sales or business development
- Prior experience in dealing with marketplace platforms (Shopee or Lazada) will be an added advantage
- Excellent communicator and interpersonal skills
