about the job

As the Business Strategy Manager, you are accountable for:

  • contribute to the overall company strategy, ensure and provide timely input on strategic planning based on own domain of expertise and experience;
  • provide recommendations through analysis and data mining for the development of short and long term strategic objectives and goals in order to achieve the vision and mission;
  • liaise and follow up with respective departments to ensure on the understanding and implementation of strategic and operational objectives;
  • periodically monitor the performance of the Company against the approved strategic objectives and goals;
  • perform and present industry and market research;
  • participate in other functions of the departments on the corporate exercises including reorganization and restructuring, mergers and acquisition as required; and
  • develop and maintain knowledge within relevant business areas to the long-term framework.

This is an aggressive team which constantly looks for gap and opportunity through the data and communication with stakeholders.

skills and experience required

  • 5 years of FMCG experience, with proven track record of sales strategy and sales planning
  • Strong commercial acumen and passionate about consumer product
  • Able to cut through data and complexity to find recommendations and solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skill
  • Able to work with different levels of stakeholder
