job description

our client
A European MNC in the logistics industry with presence in more than 50 countries globally and one of the largest players in its business.

the role
This is a newly created role in which the incumbent will be required to be strategic and perform business process improvements.

the boss / team
You will report to the Head of Business Transformation.

Your profile

  • Contribute to development of regional Operations Transformation strategy.
  • Support in developing implementation roadmap for strategy rollout in the business for Operations Transformation initiatives.
  • Support in creating systems and process and deployment of the overall roadmap based on the identified work stream for better control of the execution/roll out plan through thorough and detailed scoping of the strategies in collaboration with the business/functional members.
  • Support organization Transformation Culture and Change Management Programs inclusive of the roll-out plan for timely implementation through collaboration for allocated work streams.
  • Co-project manage work-streams, measure results and report progress on deliverables based on the overall governance and Operations Transformation KPI / metrics for timely and effective management decision making.
  • Responsible for coordinating implementation of improvement initiatives by collaboration with supporting lines that will increase the operational excellence in line to support overall business growth.
  • Responsible for executing and documenting key communication strategies around the transformation initiatives to various stakeholders such as Working Committee of various work streams and associates.
  • Responsible for developing and documenting the blueprint / business process documentation for the organisation to move from the Current Operating Model, to the Interim Operating Model and then onto the Target Operating Model.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and budget to a high quality, including system-related implementation projects.
  • Strong track record of building relationships at multiple level across organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Aptitude to work as part of cross functional / business teams.
  • Self-motivated, able to thrive in an environment where your next engagement and challenge is not prescribed to you.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic approach to technology, people management, building relationships and change management.
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home.

To qualify .

  • Graduate degree holder, preferably in the field of Business Management, or any Engineering disciplines.
  • 3- 5 years of well-rounded and varied working experience in the field of Operations / Business / Strategic Management and /or Consulting.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Transformation, Change Management, Project Management Office or system implementation projects.
  • Experience in Distribution, or Manufacturing of B2B business is highly preferred
  • Prior consulting experience will be highly valued
  • Strong track record of creating the impact within the organization and demonstrated evidence of “Thinking outside the box”
