As the CFO, you will be managing the Finance team, and members from relevant divisions and external resources.

about the role

  • Develop financial and tax strategies in line with organizational objectives by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; forecasting capital, facilities and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources.
  • Establish financial operational strategies by evaluating trends, establishing critical measurements, determining production, designing systems, managing capital request and budgeting process, resolving problems and implementing changes.
  • Monitor financial performance by measuring and analysing results, initiating corrective actions and minimizing the impact of variances.
  • Maximize return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities and maintaining good rapport with the investment community.
  • Report financial status by developing forecasts, reporting results, analysing variances and developing improvements.
  • Accomplish finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

your profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree in Accounting, Finance or any related field and a Certified Accountant designation.
  • Candidate with Public Listed experience would be an added advantage
  • Minimum 10 years’ progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of large corporations.
  • In depth knowledge of corporate financial law, risk management practices, profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow management and general finance and budgeting.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Experience with corporate governance.
  • Strong leadership skills, organizational skills and negotiation skills.
  • Engage with employees at all levels of the organization and exercise sound judgement.
  • Display a cohesive ability at interpersonal and communication skills
