The Company

Client is an international bank operating in major cities such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Brussels, New York and Dubai offering customers tailor made range of financial solutions.
Client bank focuses on the business banking segment principally on trade financing, foreign exchange transactions, business loans, working capital financing and overseas remittances in foreign currencies in their worldwide presence.

The Role

Client is currently searching for a Chief Operating Officer who is responsible for the overall bank’s operations and to support CEO in administrative and operational affairs.

Chief Operating Officer ensures that the business operations are efficient and effective with proper management of resources and the dispersion of products and services to end customers are implemented competently.

Deliver and encourage effective leadership, direction and communication to staff.

Preserves an effective relationship with clients and regulatory authorities.

Formulate, oversee and fulfil the operational plan based on Bank’s strategy plan and to serve provisionsing plan and annual budget for Board’s approval.

To reinforce Board and Board Committee functions in preparation of Board Documentations.

Uphold an active participation in discussuibs, both at local ALCO, Management Credit Committee & Branch Operational Risk Management Committee.

Assures Bank policies and procedures are followed in accordance with the laid down local guidelines in this regard.

Collaborating with HR Department to ensure thatall employees of the Bank are provided with relevant trainings and are sufficiently equipped to discharge their duties and responsibilities.

Oversee day-to-day business lines and Opearuions principally Branch, Human Resources & Administration, Information Technology(IT) and Credit Admin Functions of the Bank.

Stand in for the CEO in his/her absence.
