about the job
- Assist in managing all aspects of daily operations of the secretarial function.
- Prepare resolutions, notice, agenda of meetings, convene
- Attend Board, shareholders and board committee/management meetings and drafting of minutes.
- Draft and review necessary documentation for corporate exercises, where applicable.
- Assist the HOD in advising management and board on matters pertaining to statutory requirements and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory returns/documents with the Registrar of Companies and other relevant authorities.
- Handle other assigned duties and secretarial support as and when required.
about the requirements
- Licensed (ICSA or SSM or MACS or MAISA)
- Minimum 5-9 years of corporate secretarial experience.
- Public listed companies experience is a must
- Familiar with Companies Act, Bursa Listing Requirements, Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance and other relevant laws, statutory requirements, and guidelines.
- Experienced in preparation for and attending shareholders/board/management meetings, minutes writing, drafting resolutions, announcements, reviewing agreements and other corporate secretarial and compliance works.
- Excellent command of English and written communication.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and guidance.

Report to the HOD. Depending on the position entered, this role may be a people management role.
