about the job
- Responsible for all aspects secretarial including but not limited to compiling meeting papers and coordinating meeting arrangement including preparation of agenda, advising the Board of the relevant dates for holding of the company's AGM, coordinating, and attending meetings of the Board and Board Committees, drafting and finalizing minutes of those meetings in a timely manner, maintenance of the company's register and minutes book.
- Responsible for the completion and timely filing of the company's return, announcements and audited financial statements by the statutory deadline.
- Provide general advice on matters relating to company secretarial and corporate governance matters when required.
- Assist in legal or compliance functions when the need arises.
about the manager / team
Reporting to the Financial Controller. The team works well and has good team spirit.
skills & experience required
- Malaysian citizen with a ICSA qualification and a minimum 3 years of experience in company secretarial work.
- Good knowledge of listing requirements and compliance relating to secretarial and corporate governance.
- Familiar with Hong Kong Stock Exchange's listing requirements is an added advantage.
- Good command of both written and spoken English. Ability to read and write in Mandarin would be an advantage.
