•Continuous Improvement Strategy:
•Develop and lead the LEAN continuous improvement strategy for the GBS organization, aligning with overall business objectives.
•Identify opportunities for process improvement across all GBS functions (e.g., Finance, HR, IT, Procurement) and establish a pipeline of LEAN projects.
•Champion a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that LEAN principles are embedded across the GBS organization.
•Project Management:
•Lead and manage LEAN projects from inception to completion, including scope definition, resource allocation, and timeline management.
•Apply LEAN tools and techniques (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis) to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements.
•Monitor project progress, ensuring that objectives are met on time and within budget.
•Process Optimization:
•Conduct process assessments and gap analyses to identify areas for improvement and standardization across the GBS functions.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to redesign processes that eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, and improve service quality.
•Implement and sustain process improvements, ensuring measurable gains in efficiency and effectiveness.
•Training & Development:
•Develop and deliver LEAN training programs for GBS employees at all levels, building internal capability and fostering a continuous improvement mindset.
•Mentor and coach GBS team members on LEAN methodologies and tools, supporting their professional growth and development.
•Facilitate workshops and Kaizen events to engage teams in problem-solving and process improvement activities.
•Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
•Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to continuous improvement initiatives.
•Prepare and present regular reports to senior leadership on the impact of LEAN projects, highlighting successes and lessons learned.
•Identify and escalate potential risks or issues that may impact project success.
•Stakeholder Engagement:
•Engage with key stakeholders across the GBS organization to ensure alignment and support for continuous improvement initiatives.
•Act as a change agent, driving adoption of LEAN practices and fostering a culture of operational excellence.
•Collaborate with other functional leaders to share best practices and drive cross-functional improvements.
Qualifications:
•Education:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
•LEAN Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is required.
•Experience:
•Minimum of 7 years of experience in a continuous improvement or process optimization role, preferably within a Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Services environment.
•Proven track record of leading and delivering successful LEAN projects with tangible business outcomes.
•Experience in training and mentoring teams in LEAN methodologies.
