about the company

Our client is a leading player in its industry - having a Finance Shared Services hub in Malaysia set up for Asia Pacific. This hub is currently still being expanded in terms of scope and process, and are constantly seeking to standardize processess to improve efficiency.

about the job

This role will give you a broad overview and experience to manage all finance/accounting processess (PTP/OTC/RTR) within the shared servies, reporting directly into the Centre Director.

  • Oversee and manage finance performance improvement engagement, which involve analysing a FSSC processes and advising on solutions around creating efficient process or improving existing processes.
  • Act as a CI champion for the Company and ensure that process improvement activities are being executed and sustained.
  • Initiate, analyse, lead, and execute requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation for improvement as well as optimisation projects.
  • Establishing effective relationship with regional key stakeholders to influence change.
  • Maintain open communication channels to ensure expectation are clarified and updated.
  • Leading on-going FSSC transition associated projects/ activities, governance workstream and providing regular updates to the management i.e. steering committees.

Skills and experience required

You, as the aspiring candidate should possess:

  • Finance/Accounting Degree or relevant qualifications.
  • Over 7 years of working experience in the related finance/accounting field.
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in a CI related roles within shares services.
  • In-depth understanding of CI principles, methodology, workflow, tools.
  • Passionate about driving CI initiatives and customer centricity.
  • Demonstrate good influencing, presentation and writing skillsl.
  • Strong adaptability skills and able to work efficiently under pressure with minimum supervision
