Reviewing and providing commentary on profit and loss and balance sheet fluctuations.
Preparing and reviewing manual journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Identifying significant issues for quarterly CFO certifications.
Ensuring compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and internal control standards, including documentation and education of process owners.
Proactively addressing potential control issues.
Offering guidance to business teams on accounting treatment and internal controls for new initiatives.
Ensuring adherence to corporate finance policies, such as reconciliations and manual journal entries.
Managing annual statutory audits efficiently and cost-effectively.
Collaborating with the regional tax team on tax returns and compliance matters.
Supporting the implementation of corporate policies, processes, and systems at the local level.
