about our client

A consumer good US-based MNC client, looking for a Corporate Finance Manager to ensure that the Group is in full compliance with the latest regulatory requirements. Safeguard interest of the business through risk management process, internal audit, insurance coverage and business continuity planning.

about the role

  • Ensure the Group is in full compliance with the latest regulatory requirements i.e. Companies Act, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad Main Market Listing Requirements and Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance
  • Prepare annual report & coordinate with all stakeholders for the key reports, ie. Chairmen statements, MD&A & sustainability reports
  • Statutory filings for annual return, and semi-annual return
  • Risk managers & Coordinate ERM process with HODs, managers
  • Update the risk register for presentation to Board quarterly
  • Boardroom Management
  • Compile BOD & Audit Committee papers
  • Coordinate the quarterly BOD meetings
  • Arrange pre-board meeting briefings with MD, CFO, AC Chairman, Board Chairperson
  • On time Quarterly Bursa announcements
  • Manage external consultants & ensure all KPI/SLA are delivered
  • Finalize the IA plan
  • Coordinate the Exit Meeting / sessions with MD & HODS
  • Coordinate with the IA team / stakeholders to ensure a smooth audit
  • Ensure on time closure of all audit action plans

your profile

  • Preferably 6-10 years’ experience working in a corporate finance/management consulting related role;
  • Strong accounting, corporate finance advisory or management consulting background;
  • Exposure in public listed is a great advantage;
  • Experience in loan negotiation and documentation is a plus;
  • Ability to develop stakeholder presentations;
  • Experienced user in Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
  • Product costing knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Prior experience working with ERP systems e.g. SAP is a plus.
  • Self-starter and team player.
  • Able to run projects independently.
