our client is looking for an outstanding Credit Risk Analyst to join their Risk Management team and this is your opportunity to be a part of one of the largest Trading and Investment companies in the world. This Global powerhouse operates in 9 business area’s such as Energy, Chemicals and Projects etc.

about the role

  • To manage the operation of Risk Management as Team Leader
  • To evaluate the risk based on in-depth analysis of financial data and thorough understanding of the company’s external counterparties
  • To provide recommendation to eliminate of minimize credit risk, market risk and country risk
  • To monitor customer’s over-credit and overdue position, commodity long/short position
  • To support business divisions and ensure compliance of internal rules and regulations
  • To attend/handle accounting, tax and finance jobs/issues as requested by superiors

your profile

  • Candidate must possess a Degree in Accounting/Finance/Banking or professional accounting qualification.
  • Preferably with at least 5 years working experience within a credit risk analyst role or related. However, candidates with less than 5 years experience will also be considered
  • Experience in accounting, tax and finance will be an added advantage
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills and possess high level of tact
  • Responsible and meticulous with good working attitude, strong team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications – Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Knowledge of the law such as Company Act and Bankruptcy Act will be an added advantage
