About our client

Our client is a global insurance company headquartered in United Kingdom with offices in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. Our client provides offshore investment/protection solutions to expatriate and local around the world. Our client is expanding its operation in Asia which led them to setting up a new South East Asia (SEA) office in Kuala Lumpur to offer their solutions to clients across South East Asia and soon, other countries across Asia Pacific.

About the job

  • You assist in the development of new and renewal business, gathering and reviewing preliminary information for underwriting (including risk management); pricing, products, markets and claims.
  • You respond and coordinate proposal and policy issuance activities with internal units.
  • You communicate with International Financial Advisers (IFA) based in Malaysia, United Kingdom, Middle East and Africa to facilitate new and renewal business (and other requests when necessary).
  • You ensure all information on the application complies to local and overseas regulatories and policies/guidelines fixed by head office especially Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customers (KYC)

About the skills and experience

  • You have a diploma or degree in any field
  • Preferably up to 5 years experience in an operation support role (middle/back-office operation) with a global general/life insurance company
  • Excellent command of English (written and verbal) is a MUST for this role

THIS IS NOT A SALES ROLE. Working days/hours is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, as per Malaysia calendar.
