about the company

Randstad is partnering with an international company who are leading omnichannel partners for luxury beauty and lifestyle brands to reach Asia Pacific consumers. They are going through expansion and looking for a Demand Planning Manager to join their company.

about the team:

You will be reporting to the Senior Demand & Supply Manager. You will be managing a team of 4 demand planners under your wing.


about the job

  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
  • Working with logistics to ensure that demand is met within agreed KPI’s with the customers.
  • Report weekly to stakeholders with key forecasting and stock updates.
  • Closely coordinate and communicate action plans with multi-functional teams to ensure dissemination of relevant information to and from the wider planning functions of the business.
  • Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.

skill/experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in the area of Supply Chain, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or other quantitative business discipline
  • At least six (5) years of experience working in supply chain function within the beauty retail/consumer goods/FMCG environment with a comprehensive knowledge of processes and procedures
  • Strong IT systems knowledge and skills including knowledge and understanding of specialist systems such as SAP Enterprise Resource Planning ( SAP ERP), Bill of Material (BOM) and customer data systems and an advanced Excel user
  • Proven results running meetings where cross-functional decisions are needed and reached using analysis and facilitation skills.
