about the job
Sales:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute the sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Sales Team Leadership: Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve individual and team goals.
- Pipeline Management: Monitor and analyse the sales pipeline, forecast sales projections, and identify areas for improvement.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competition, and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Sales Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales efforts.
Operations:
- Operational Efficiency: Streamline and optimise operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as production, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of efforts.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and ensure timely and accurate inventory replenishment to meet customer demands.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure products or services meet established standards and customer expectations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement across operations.
- Resource Allocation: Manage resources effectively, including personnel, technology, and equipment, to optimise operations.
- Risk Management: Identify operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential disruptions to business operations.

skills and experience required
- Education: A bachelor's degree in business, management, operations, or a related field is typically required, while an MBA or advanced degree can be advantageous.

- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, team-building, and people management skills to motivate and guide sales and operational teams.
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of overall business strategies.
- Analytically Skills: Proficiency in analysing sales and operational data to make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement.
- Financial Acumen: A solid understanding of financial concepts and the ability to manage budgets and analyse financial data.
