about the job
- Manage emails, transmittal, and various project-related documents from clients, suppliers, vendors, and internal sources.
- Assess incoming emails and transmittal, determining their importance and devising a plan of action for distribution, in collaboration with the Project Manager or designated project team member.
- Establish and maintain a Master Document Schedule for precise and timely monitoring of project-related documents.
- Proactively track the status of documents and communicate updates to the Project Manager or designated project team member.
- Administer the allocation, creation, and supervision of Document Control (DC) folders for all projects.
- Generate a list of overdue documents and follow up with the relevant parties involved.
- Prepare the final documentation in accordance with client specifications upon project completion.
- Execute precise electronic and hard copy filing, ensuring accuracy and easy retrieval in alignment with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

skills and experience required
- Minimum 2 years work experience as a document controller in oil and gas industry.
- Required knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
- Good Interpersonal skills and English proficiency.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Able to work with minimum supervision.
- Possess at least a Diploma or higher in Business Studies or certification would be considered an advantage
