about the job
- Lead a group of subcontractors for installation work and coordinate with other trade contractors.
- Address all site matters, attend site meetings, and participate in Toolbox Meetings (TBM).
- Draft Method of Statements (MOS), Safe Work Permits (SWP), Technical Write-Ups, and all necessary site documentation as required.
- Formulate and draft Testing & Commissioning (T&C) procedures, including Functional System Tests, Switchover, and Integrated System Tests (IST) for data centers of various scales.
- Coordinate with specialized equipment vendors and product principals to resolve technical issues.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the site team and client for testing and commissioning planning, site installation, and overall project lifecycle management.
- Develop a working schedule and timeline for all commissioning processes that align with the construction master program.
- Efficiently manage Change Order Requests (COR) throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce prompt and efficient weekly, daily, and monthly project progress reports.
- Communicate effectively with site personnel and clients.
- Willingness to work overtime as required by the nature of the work and site demands.
- Lead the project through its entire lifecycle, from construction to commissioning, and provide technical support to the Construction team (MEPF) on a prompt basis throughout the project.

skills and experience required
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a data center environment.
- Multilingual personnel is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel and relocate based on project requirements.
- Relevant experience in ACMV or LV electrical installation in factory settings, high-rise commercial buildings, or data centers is highly beneficial.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including an understanding of UPS and LV electrical systems, project implementation, and testing requirements.
- Technical expertise in ACMV working principles, with the ability to demonstrate the refrigerant life cycle.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Ability to lead a testing team focused on electrical systems.
- Knowledge of data center operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with construction site work requirements, such as producing Method of Statements (MOS), creating project schedules, and tracking site work progress.
- Ability to multitask, with an exceptional positive working attitude and a strong capacity to work under a stressful environment.
