about the job
- Perform hands on inspection, testing and upkeeping of HV and LV switchboard and other M&E functions as well as in-house maintenance works including office cleanliness and security
- Oversee day-to-day operations and facility management activities in the building
- Provide recommendations for building improvement as well as liaise with the authorities/JMB/utility bodies pertaining to building matters and statutory compliance
- Conduct preventive maintenance as per standard operation procedures
- Ensure all services such as lighting, PA system, fire protection system, BMS, electrical system, lift, genset, water pump, cooling tower are performing at optimum level
- Provide measures that can be taken to achieve cost saving and energy saving
- Supervise the work of technicians and contractors and ensure safety regulations are complied with ISO policies
- Handle equipment breakdown and urgent maintenance works
- Liaise and build rapport with vendors and suppliers, making sure that the parties involved deliver high quality services at the right cost
skills and experience required
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in in Estate Management, Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years of hands on experience in commercial building
- Must be familiar with HV and LV switchgears as well as other M&E functions
- Ambitious and aggressive character
- Strong communication skills and leadership qualities
