about our client

our client is a life sciences MNC from the US, seeking a Finance and Administration Manager who will be responsible for providing accounting, distribution, information systems and customer order processing services to all business divisions within the organisation.

about the role

  • Partner & Work with the General Manager on the achievement of overall business objectives.
  • Responsible for the financial accounting function, such as general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, cash management and management reporting.
  • Responsible for the customer order processing and distribution function, providing professional and timely services to the company’s customers.
  • Responsible for all aspects of internal control.
  • Responsible for the development, approval and execution of the Finance and Administration group’s business plan, including expenditure management, cost control and cashflow.
  • Responsible for the co-ordination, analysis, implementation and control of the annual budget and periodic forecasts in accordance with Corporate guidelines and objectives.
  • Assist in the development and execution of local policies and guidelines that serve the needs of the business and the objectives of the Corporation and ensure compliance with Corporate policies and procedures, local and international laws.
  • Assist in the development and execution of the company’s customer satisfaction objectives and programs.
  • Lead, coach & develop F&A team including employee training, supervision and performance management.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the physical facilities, communication systems and office equipment.
  • Responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts, tax return and annual returns in accordance with local and corporate requirements.
  • Act as the company’s main liaison with external auditors.

your profile

  • Relevant degree in Finance or Accountancy with CPA/ACCA professional qualifications.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in managerial position.
  • Comprehensive accounting skills & knowledge to perform the financial management’s requirements.
  • Good understanding of US GAAP, and experience in SOX auditing.
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent communication skills – ability to operate at all levels within the organization.
  • Willing to challenge status quo and drive change.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to “think out of the box”
  • Strong IT skills (Excel, Analytics), ERP system and proficiency in Data analytics deemed an advantage.
  • Experience of Shared Services / Centre of Excellence implementation considered a plus.
