Finance Manager (Penang,Property)

An established property development company who is rapidly expanding across Malaysia is looking for a career minded finance manager to be part of their team. You will be key member of their finance team, working closely with the General Manager, Finance of the company. You will be the main person in charge of the finance team.

Main responsibilities of the Finance Manager role

• Oversee and be responsible for the full spectrum of Finance operations with other team members.
• Monthly in-depth sales and throughputs analysis and ensure accuracy for billings and revenue recognition according to IFRS15.
• Develop budgeting plans, monitor the financials and business performance and ensure compliance with the budget.
• Monitoring the cash flow position and ensure the operation of the company has sufficient funds to meet end needs. Possess a good bargaining skill in getting best repo rates and timely withdrawal of excess fund from HDA accounts to maximize the interest income earned. Sourcing the external funds with bankers.
• To handle the opening and closing of HDA accounts. To ensure the claims and withdrawal are made in accordance with the HDA Act.

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent
• Must have MIA membership
• Willing to work in Penang
• Able to work independently and have a good eye for details
• Ability to speak in Mandarin will be an added advantage
• Knowledgeable in accounting system, IFCA is an added advantage.
