• Lead and manage the Group's accounting and financial reporting functions, including annual audits and financial reports.
• Oversee month-end processes, ensuring general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L statements are completed.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly/quarterly management accounts.
• Coordinate the Group's annual budgeting, compile and consolidate budgets, and monitor financial performance against the approved budget.
• Ensure compliance with financial control procedures, limits of authority, and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure financial reporting complies with MFRS, Bursa Malaysia, Securities Commission guidelines, Companies Act, and other statutory requirements.
• Manage the company's financial systems and provide performance analysis to the management team.
• Tax Estimates and Financial Tax Review:
• Ensure timely monthly and final tax payments.
• File initial and revised tax estimates for local and overseas subsidiaries on time.
• Review and approve annual tax computations and notes to accounts.
• Coordinate with tax agents/internal tax department on all tax matters, including year-end queries.
• Review tax reports as requested by the group tax department.
• Review and ensure compliance with SST returns for assigned companies.

requirements

• Bachelor degree qualification with professional qualification MIA/ACCA/CPA
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in a Public Listed Company
• Knowledge in Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards, Group Consolidation and Preparation of Bursa Reporting
• External Audit experience required, with experience in the audit of listed companies / involved in group reporting of listed company.
