This internationally owned property company is well established across asia. Our client is seeking for a finance manager to manage one of their many malls, to be in charge of operation finance.

about the job

• This will be an independent, non transactional role, focusing on operation finance (budgeting, forecasing, analysis and asset management)
• You will be the final check of the mall's finances, providing a high-level review to group. There will be no hands on/data entry for GL, AP, AR on your end.
• You are to liaise with different stakeholders (leasing stakeholders, management, non-finance people, auditors) on a daily basis, this will not be your typical back-end accounting job, hence we will be looking for candidates with good communication abilities.
• There will be monthly traveling (typically once a month) which involves malls visits and other operational matters.
• Your usual accounting finance tasks will be ensuring PL & BS closes within deadline, to review and provide guidance on GL/AP/AR related functions
• You will also be responsible for compiling and reporting monthly gross turnover and hourly carpark for monthly group reporting. This includes monitoring Capex tracksheets for payments, as well as debt turnover.
• You will be supporting and liaising with centre management office to review on budget and capital management, and to address any operational matters that might have financial impact.
• You are also required to prepare mall SST report on bi-monthly basis

your profile

• we are looking for FM and AMs in the property/development industry
• ability to converse and communicate well with different stakeholders is important (this is a big part of the job) as this is NOT a desk bound job
• professional paper is a MUST (ACCA/CPA)
• you must be okay with travelling occasionally
• must have experience in SAP
