about the job

  • Involving in budgets and forecasts of regional Shared Service.
  • Support in strategic planning process, operational budgeting and forecast process and monthly reviews through the provision of reporting data analytical support.
  • Support the implementation of transformative program to streamline processes, enhance system and strengthening business partnering with various stakeholders’ team supports.
  • Track and monitor actual KPIs and financial performance against budget / forecast and provide insights into opportunities and risk to Center Director on a timely basis.
  • To develop comprehensive financial modelling analysis criteria and models to drive decisions
  • To provide variance analysis between current plan, forecast and actual to develop financial advice for key stakeholder that can be implemented operationally.
  • Maintain and update the Business Continuity Plan for the Shared Services
  • Develop an understanding of the local business operations and build relationships with local leadership, use this knowledge/network to identify risks and business partnership opportunities to enhance the quality of service delivered
  • Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, trainings and workshops to drive process change
  • Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics for visual management and reporting
  • Conduct compliance audits and validate process documentation
  • Support the operational team by providing a back-up for critical processes
  • Collect and analyze functional performance data to identify improvement opportunities and leads CI events with appropriate improvement tools (six sigma/ kaizen etc)
  • Supports audit processes including SOX, internal/external audit
  • Support and drive finance transformation initiatives and other adhoc projects as required.

Skills and experience required

You, the aspiring candidate should possess:

  • A university degree with major in accounting/finance or qualified accounting certification.
  • At least 6 years of experience in finance, planning, analysis, process and improvement areas in Finance, with experience in Six Sigma/Kaizen etc.
  • Experience working with MNC status companies and regional exposure within shared services will be an added advantage.
  • SAP experience is mandatory, with advance Excel skills.
  • Good communication and analytical skills with all levels, globally.
  • Flexibility in tight time frames, minimal supervision and traveling requirements.
