about our client

our client is an MNC beverage manufacturer and distributor and has been making a mark in the Malaysian market. They are looking for a Financial Analyst who will act as an intermediary between the finance team and the sales team.

The Financial Analyst reports to the Sales Planning Manager and the Finance Director

about the role

  • To check and verify the validity of FTT claims in terms of depletions, FTT brand allocation, and any relevant supporting info/documents.
  • To review and analyze FTT expenses, compared with the budget.
  • To check and verify all contract drafts prior to submission per DOA for validation and signatures.
  • To track and ensure contracts are being issued systematically and in a timely manner in accordance with the SOP and approval matrix.
  • Prepare data and upload agreements based on approval.
  • To review and analyze accruals, compared with the budget, including phasing.
  • To review the monthly and half-yearly accruals process for accurate and timely submission.
  • Liaise with the finance team on the accruals submission.
  • Liaise with the sales team and on bottle collection program, specifically on inclusion and exclusion of outlets, analysis of bottle collection report for management purpose.
  • To collect and collate the wholesaler sell-out, and the R&R submission.
  • To ensure timely submission by the wholesalers.
  • To audit the submission with all corresponding invoices, to ensure the integrity of the data.
  • To complete monthly and quarterly reporting.

your profile

  • Candidates must possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies / Finance / Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in the FMCG, the Retail or the F&B industry, would be an advantage.
  • MS Excel & SAP experience required
  • Good networking, influencing, and communication skills
  • Meticulous with strict attention to details
  • Highly motivated, energetic, enthusiastic and team-oriented.
  • Analytical, yet creative.
  • Independent, entrepreneurial and resourceful – able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
