position:
They are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead and oversee the strategic direction, operations, and growth of our technology company. As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's future, fostering a culture of innovation, ensuring operational excellence, and driving new sales to fuel our expansion.
key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns with the company's mission, vision, and long-term objectives. Identify market trends, opportunities, and potential areas for diversification and expansion.
- Business Development and New Sales: Drive business growth through innovative initiatives, identifying new revenue streams, cultivating strategic partnerships, and expanding the company's customer base. Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to generate new business and increase sales revenue.
- A Digital Workplace is the name given to today’s virtual, modern version of traditional workplaces. The Digital Workplace experience provides personalized, role-based services as well as the data, applications, and collaboration tools required for employees to work from anywhere, on any device, at any time. To achieve this, digital workplaces utilize mobility services and digital technology to adapt to user activities to help increase employee engagement.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to industry standards. Collaborate with department heads to streamline processes, optimize resource allocation, and achieve operational excellence.
- Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to a diverse team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Develop and mentor team members to enhance their skills and contributions.
- Financial Management: Manage budgetary planning and financial performance, tracking key metrics and making data-driven decisions to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
- Innovation and Technology: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. Drive a culture of innovation, encouraging the exploration and adoption of new technologies to enhance our offerings.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the technology industry.
- Strong track record of successfully developing and executing strategic plans, leading teams, and achieving business growth.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of technology trends and their application in business contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and P&L management.
