about the job
As the General Manager of Operations, you will be manage overall financial & operational activities related to production, quality, engineering, projects, tooling and facilities within the India operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage product transfer from China to India site
- Derive a long term growth strategy to achieve company goals with favourable productivity levels
- Proactively look into areas/opportunities for improvement to build up competencies for future needs
about the requirement
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (any field) with track record of managing a medium sized team in operations.
- Knowledge in Profit & Loss
- Experience in Lean manufacturing/operations excellence/change management is an added advantage
- Candidate has to be comfortable to work in India - able to adapt to India business and cultural environment
- Native Indian with 5 years or more overseas exposure within China or South East Asia is preferred
