    about the job

    • Provide corporate secretarial guidance/advice to the Boards/Management and oversight function for foreign companies in various jurisdictions under the Group and accountable for all corporate secretarial duties including compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements.
    • Planning/implementing procedural and administrative systems to ensure effective and efficient administration of the Group Secretarial Department.
    • Ensure statutory obligations under any governing laws, regulations and any relevant legislations are met, including monitoring, and coordinating continuous disclosure for compliance purposes.
    • Ensure proper and timely filing of statutory forms, documents, and financial statements with the relevant regulatory authorities.
    • Review meeting materials and draft documents prepared by direct reports before finalizing for circulation.
    • Keep the team abreast/aware of the developments/changes of new and existing reporting and other requirements imposed by the statute under which the companies are incorporated.

    Reporting to the Executive Director, you will manage a team of 2.

    skills & experience required

    • Malaysian citizen with an ICSA qualification or as a Licensed Secretary with SSM and a minimum of 10 years of experience in company secretarial work.
    • Well-versed with the Companies Act 2016.
    • Good written and verbal English communication skills.
    • Meticulous, good team player and has strong interpersonal skills.
