about the job
- Design and develop tailored products to meet client requirements, including conducting financial assessments, obtaining necessary internal approvals, and presenting proposals to clients.
- Lead and manage external consultants, suppliers, service providers, and vendors throughout the design development process, ensuring smooth coordination for authorities approvals, construction, development, project completion, and handover to clients.
- Oversee and monitor the progress and quality of construction works to ensure timely completion while delivering high-quality products.
- Identify and address potential construction-related issues or contractual disputes, providing effective solutions.
- Lead, manage, and monitor the construction process to stay within the contract value, minimising the need for costly variation orders while ensuring the project is completed on time and with high quality.
- Support the implementation of quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, activities, procedures, and instructions as per requirements.
- Manage coordination between external parties and the internal design team to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure the company meets its approved targets, particularly in fulfilling Company’s shareholder responsibilities within the Joint Venture.
- Oversee financial operations, ensuring the company and its subsidiaries meet statutory obligations.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring they align with approved budgets and controlling costs effectively.
- Approve invoices and payments to contractors and suppliers.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, permits, and inspection reports.
skills & experiences required
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or any equivalent
- Minimum of 15 years working experience in managing and delivering industrial projects.
