We are looking for Head of IoT specialised in Smart Home and strategic planning for one of the leading local property developer in Malaysia.

• Company Size: 50 and above
• Regions covered: Malaysia

about the job

• Drive and manage IoT programs identified by management to meet delivery, quality and cost goals.
• Work closely with the Sales & Marketing Team to launch approved products and services.
• Be up to date on products, trends, and the competitive landscape in the field of IoT and smart home; and be able to propose and advice the Executive Team on the implementation of new technology into future projects.
• Expected to head projects in research, development, testing, and deployment of IoT solutions in future projects.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for implementation in projects.
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members

skill/experience

• Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, PHD in Engineering – electronics, computer engineering, computer science (or equivalent level) qualification.
• At least 5 years of working experience in IoT & smart home development or related fields.
• Strong understanding of the IoT industry, products and services including device categories, features, architectures, and communication protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skill
• For those who have exposure in engaging with technology companies in IoT in China counterpart would be a plus point.
