Your future employer is a reputable property investment company. The company is seeking a Head of Leasing with all-rounded experience in both office leasing and retail leasing.
about the job
- Understand market demand, perform market research and develop a feasible leasing plan for the company's property portfolio (office building & retail).
- Lead and provide guidance to the leasing department with a view to achieving the leasing target for company's property portfolio.
- Increase occupancy and gross income through strategic leasing and marketing plans.
- Build and manage relationships with real estate agents/partners, and existing tenants.
- Accountable for attaining revenue and leasing goals, as well as ensuring that specific client results are in line with team KPIs and the overarching business strategy.
- Liaising with tenants and with various internal stakeholders from Design, Fit-Out, Legal, Marketing, Operations and Finance department.
- Oversee the negotiation and execution of lease agreements and other contracts, ensuring adherence to legal standards.
- Liaise with lawyers in drafting a standard tenancy agreement, that includes landlord and tenant provisions, house rules and fit out guidelines.
- Prepare reports and follow up on status of negotiation with tenants.
- Develop leasing budgets, revenue forecasts, and expense controls to optimize the financial performance of the properties.
skills and experience required
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Estate Management, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of experience in mall and/or commercial leasing
- Driven, ambitious and aggressive character
- Strong communication skills and leadership qualities
