In this key critical role, you will define and formulate the marketing strategy in ensuring profitability and aligned with total company growth objectives and strategic roadmap.
key responsibilities
- Primary role is to act as the portfolio champion, creating focus and enthusiasm both internally and with external customers/agencies for the brands/products across the market
- Leads portfolio strategy, the delivery of sales and organizational objectives through identification of critical success factors based on a robust understanding of customer and patient needs, monitoring of brand metrics (market share, brand equity, commercial KPIs) and the external environment via appropriate tools
- Collaborates with, influences and provides upstream input into the Regional Commercial and IMG (International Marketing Group) to ensure commercial programs, innovation and external partnerships meet local requirements.
- Driving channel strategies, programs and initiatives specific to Key customers in the selected distribution channels.
- Responsible for the effective leadership, management and coaching of direct reports. Responsible for setting business objectives and the assessment of individual performance. Ongoing capability assessment and proactive personal development of team, including the formulation of training and development plans to ultimately attract & retain talent
Skills & experience
- Above 8 years of brand management experience in either Pharmacy, Healthcare, OTC, FMCG or Grocery Product management, with 3 years in a team management position
- Leading cross-functional teams and direct reports across multiple countries/geographies
- Sensitive to marketing trends and developments within the healthcare industry
- Omni-channel/digital transformation and establishment of CRM/Martech programs
- Effective communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to influence decision makers up and down two or more levels, with and without authority, to ensure fully aligned customer/company business plan
