Key Responsibilities:
•RTR Operations Management:
•Lead and manage the full RTR cycle, including general ledger accounting, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, financial reporting, and period-end close activities.
•Ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial statements and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
•Develop and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) to maintain high standards of service delivery across all RTR activities.
•Migration and Transition:
•Lead the migration of RTR processes from existing entities or regions to the new SSC.
•Create and execute detailed migration plans, ensuring seamless transition with minimal business disruption.
•Collaborate with finance, IT, and other key stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of systems and processes during the migration phase.
•Process Improvement and Optimization:
•Identify opportunities for process standardization, automation, and improvement to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of RTR operations.
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize month-end close processes, streamline reporting, and reduce manual interventions.
•Implement financial systems, tools, and reporting structures to support effective decision-making and ensure compliance.
•Team Leadership and Development:
•Build and develop a high-performing RTR team, providing leadership, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
•Set clear performance goals and metrics, regularly monitor team progress, and foster a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
•Drive collaboration within the RTR team and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive financial operations and reporting.
•Stakeholder Engagement:
•Serve as the key point of contact for RTR-related matters, working closely with senior finance leaders, auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
•Collaborate with internal teams across finance, tax, treasury, and compliance to ensure smooth and effective financial operations.
•Provide regular updates to senior leadership on the performance of RTR processes, migration progress, and key improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
•8+ years of experience in Record-to-Report (RTR) operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a Shared Services or Global Business Services (GBS) environment.
•Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, intercompany transactions, and month-end close activities.
•Proven experience in leading RTR process migrations and transitions within an SSC setup.
•Expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools.
•Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while ensuring operational excellence.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience in setting up or migrating RTR functions to a newly established SSC.
•Lean Six Sigma or similar certification in process improvement.
•Experience with automation tools and digital transformation initiatives.
